In the program, “Let’s open the world to children” (tłum.”Otwórzmy Dzieciom Świat”), from 1997 the Foundation organizes trips for children to the world’s most interesting places and regions. So far, children had an opportunity to visit many countries – Austria, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Tunisia, Cyprus, Greece, Egypt, Denmark, Morocco, United States, Gotland, Hungary, Italy and Spain. The participants of these trips are always children whose fathers (miners, soldiers, policemen, firemen, TOPR rescuers, sailors, airmen) were killed during duty.

Children from poor rural families and children with a history of malignancy have already joined this group. Almost from the beginning of the program, the Foundation works with many associations and other foundations that help in a very appropriate and relevant way choose young participants to travel abroad. So far, the orphaned children selected by the Association of Miners Families, Association of Widows after the policemen, as well as Sailors’ and Pilots’ Associations were going abroad with us. This program has enabled over three thousands of children to forget the worries of everyday life, even for a short time.

The Foundation has organized 76 trips abroad in the total amount of over 4.000.000,00 zł.
